About The Position

We’re building the next generation of PepsiCo’s mobile applications that power our business and deliver modern digital capabilities to our frontline employees. As a Principal Software Engineer (React Native), you’ll lead design and development of high-performing mobile apps, mentor other engineers, and help bring new digital capabilities (including AI) to life. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you’ll set the standard for mobile excellence at PepsiCo.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years in software engineering, with experience building large-scale mobile applications
• 3+ years hands-on with React Native (TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Strong knowledge of iOS/Android app development, APIs, and app store workflows
• Experience leading projects or mentoring teams

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Salesforce, Azure, CI/CD pipelines, or consumer apps at scale

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and hands-on development of mobile apps using React Native
• Partner with product managers, UX designers, and cloud engineers to deliver global solutions
• Establish best practices for coding, testing, and deployment
• Mentor engineers and guide technical decision-making across the team
• Explore and Adopt tools such as AI copilots and agents to streamline development and boost productivity.
