About The Position

Our Machine Learning Engineering team powers personalized experiences for hundreds of millions of customers across thousands of brands. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a critical role in building, scaling, and operating production-grade ML systems that drive real-time personalization across the Attentive platform. You will operate with a high degree of ownership, partner closely with Product and Engineering, and help raise the technical bar across our ML systems in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Requirements

• Proven track record of building systems that maintain a high bar of quality.
• Deep loathing of regressions and proactive steps to protect against them through a variety of testing techniques.
• Collaborator, technical leader, and great communicator.
• Constantly improving the quality of the project, both via direct contributions and long-term advocacy for larger-scale changes.
• Enthusiasm for the high impact, fast-paced work environment of an late-stage startup.
• 10+ years experience is ideal.
• Worked professionally building systems for 10+ years with experience on a single system long enough to see the consequences of your decisions.
• Experience with TensorFlow/Pytorch, xgboost, pandas, matplotlib, SQL, Spark or similar tools.
• Proficiency or experience with Python.
• Extensive experience using machine learning and data analysis, or similar, to build scalable systems and data-driven products, working with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of building scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, model validation, and model implementation from modern research.
