As Principal Software Cybersecurity Engineer you will be responsible for; Design and implement anti‑tamper protections and embedded cybersecurity frameworks for safety‑critical and secure product lines. Lead secure software engineering activities including code analysis, requirements evaluation, architecture reviews, and interface design to ensure robust system security. Develop, test, and debug secure applications using languages such as C/C++, Python, and shell scripting. Support cybersecurity validation and testing efforts across diverse platforms including embedded systems, RF technologies, and advanced hardware solutions. Build and maintain embedded Linux environments, including creation and customization of Linux distributions using embedded build frameworks. Collaborate in a cross‑functional engineering environment using Agile methodologies and modern development tools. Contribute to system hardening efforts and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices across the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
  • 9+ years of experience in software development or cybersecurity, including 5+ years focused on application security or system hardening in a senior capacity.
  • Strong background in software and system analysis, including code review, requirements assessment, and secure design practices.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and scripting languages for secure application development.
  • Experience working with Linux systems, including administration and development of embedded distributions.
  • Familiarity with modern development and collaboration tools used in Agile engineering environments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, an industry‑recognized cybersecurity certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP).
  • US Persons (citizens or permanent residents) only.
