About The Position

GondolaBio is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing therapeutics for genetic diseases. This role partners with the Translational Medicine VP to drive clinical biomarker strategy and execution across early neuroscience clinical programs. The position translates discovery-stage hypotheses and preclinical findings into clinically actionable biomarker approaches, ensuring assays are fit for purpose, validated, and operationally feasible in global studies. The work informs measurement of target engagement, pharmacodynamic effects, and disease biology in patients. The scientist works across discovery, preclinical, clinical development, clinical operations, regulatory, and data science teams. Responsibilities include leading biomarker assay development and validation, coordinating execution with CROs and external laboratories, and integrating biomarker findings with clinical, PK/PD, and safety data to support decisions. The role also contributes to protocol design, regulatory documentation, sample collection planning, and study logistics. GondolaBio describes its work environment as collaborative, fast-paced, and data-driven, emphasizing patient impact, scientific rigor, ownership, and learning and development. The position offers a base pay range of $190,000–$210,000 per year, with compensation determined by job-related factors, and a robust, market-competitive compensation and benefits package.
