Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience working in an IT environment.
  • 8+ years experience with Salesforce web languages, including Apex, Visualforce, Aura components.
  • 3+ years of experience with LWC or other modern web technology such as React or Angular.
  • Hands-on experience building AI-integrated Salesforce applications using Apex (Agentic AI asynchronous callouts, REST integrations), Lightning Web Components, and Einstein AI services, with extensibility to external LLMs for advanced NLP and generative use cases.
  • Experience using Salesforce Devops tools and version control systems for Salesforce such as Gearset, Github, and Copado).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and its application in Apex and enterprise application design.
  • Experience applying enterprise design patterns, such as MVC, Service Layer, Factory, Singleton and Strategy, within Salesforce and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in a SCRUM or Agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality, including lead tracking, opportunity pipeline, quotes, security models, account hierarchy and forms.
  • Working knowledge in cloud architecture principles, including: Scalable and resilient system design, Multi-tier architectures, Integration patterns and event-driven architecture, Platform considerations across Salesforce and cloud ecosystems such as Azure and AWS.
  • Proven ability to design and implement processes and drive user adoption.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exposure to Reporting platforms such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Administrator accounts, territories, and system uptime.
  • Collaborate project managers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver projects successfully; mentor and support junior developers and team members.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical specifications and solution designs aligned with best practices.
  • Develop custom interfaces, inputs, views, and client-side functionality using Lightning Web Components.
  • Write scalable, bulk-safe Apex triggers, classes, and test classes.
  • Use Salesforce, VSCode, and the Atlassian tools to manage source control and deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance to ensure coding standards, best practices, and quality processes are followed.
  • Troubleshoot and debug existing processes, flows, and triggers.
  • Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems, third-party applications, and data sources using APIs, web services, and middleware such as Boomi, Oracle, and Azure.
  • Ensure data integrity and security during integration processes.
  • Coordinate evaluation, scoping and completion of new development requests.
  • Support release cycles by implementing and deploying applications and code updates.
  • Document technical designs, development activities, configuration changes, customizations, and integrations.
  • Manage external consultants when necessary.
