At GM Financial, Technical Principals are both hands-on development and key influencers that help shape the architectural future of our solutions. The principal will work with leaders in the business segment to identify initiatives with high impact which drive the business strategy forward. The person in this role will be creative, innovative and an avid promoter of process improvement in Salesforce using the appropriate methodologies to enhance productivity and performance of assigned business area. We are reimagining Employee customer experience in Dealer Originations and rebuilding the platform from the ground up on Salesforce. As a technical leader and subject matter expert, the Principal will be a key influencer and lead development engineer in rebuilding the platform. The Principal will work with leaders in the business and technology to shape the overall platform and execution strategy. The person in this role is also expected to be an experienced innovative leader and influencer within the Salesforce ecosystem (and beyond), acting as an avid promoter of product and technology improvements to enhance productivity and performance of the product. In addition to being an expert in Salesforce architecture, the candidate should have a strong background and discipline in computer science with a history of demonstrable experience with other platforms. This person represents GM Financial in the broader community and serve as a de-facto ambassador for the organization. It is important for the Technical Principal to follow the industry trends closely and adopt new technologies that provide business value.
