About The Position

Principal Relationship Manager - Digital Payments (Remote-Eligible) This Principal Relationship Manager is responsible for leading the client management efforts for our top technology partner relationships in support of our mobile, digital and integrated payments strategy. The target technology partners include payment gateways, payment facilitators, web based platform providers, shopping cart providers and integrated software vendors. This position will also serve as an internal resource and subject matter expert on the assigned acquirers, acquirer’s portfolio and overall acquiring industry. This role will consult with other client facing teams to help them support their client needs in regard to mobile, digital and integrated payments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 6 years of payment industry experience in sales, business development, relationship management, strategy, operations, project management, planning or finance

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Finance
  • 8+ years of payment industry experience in sales, business development, relationship management, strategy, operations, project management, planning or finance
  • Experience using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools (Salesforce)
  • Experience in an advisory or consulting role
  • Experience influencing key stakeholders, executive level clients or internal business partners

Responsibilities

  • Strategically partner internally and externally to identify new or additional business opportunities within existing high value accounts; maintain and grow relationships to attain new business opportunities and improve client experience
  • Negotiate contracts, incentives or pricing agreements while ensuring compliance with new processes and business practices
  • Advise network participants of operational initiatives, new products, services, pricing or marketing program opportunities
  • Serve as trusted advisor between key decision-makers across all divisions of the assigned partner including: Liaising between assigned technology partners to validate and support technical functionality and certification and Working with Compliance, Legal and Due Diligence teams to ensure proposals and contracts are effectively and accurately produced
  • Analyze current market trends that may impact client engagement and subsequently work with internal stakeholders to develop effective tactics for improving our performance against competitors
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in providing mobile, digital and integrated payments services
