About The Position

Senior Principal Relationship Manager (Remote-Eligible) Our US & Canadian Markets team is seeking a Senior Principal Relationship Manager to manage our relationships with major Marketplace platforms. This role will focus on building relationships with key marketplace participants and serving as the primary strategic liaison with decision-makers across company divisions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 10 years of payments industry experience in sales, relationship management, business development, strategy, operations, marketing, project management or finance
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, including the ability to tailor communication across different leadership levels
  • Deep knowledge of the payments industry, particularly debit and credit pricing
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive, proactive approach, and ability to anticipate market trends within the vertical

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing
  • 12+ years of payments industry experience in sales, relationship management, business development, strategy, operations, marketing, project management or finance
  • Experience influencing key stakeholders, executive level clients or internal business partners

Responsibilities

  • Negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and incentives, while ensuring compliance
  • Identifying new business opportunities by performing market analysis, maintaining an opportunity pipeline, and advising participants on new initiatives
  • Providing market insights to internal teams (Product, Marketing, Operations)
  • Creating strategic account plans with key participants to proactively identify and grow business value
  • Client Engagement: Ability to travel 25-30% to meet with clients
