Responsible for all aspects of operations for the Bank’s digital payments and deposit operations functions, and management of the related teams.

  • Oversight of wire processing, ACH processing, bank card functions, real-time payments, online banking, mobile deposits, escheat processing, NSF processing, hold review, adjustments, stop payments, quality control functions and other core banking related responsibilities.
  • Review, maintain and negotiate department vendor contracts.
  • Review, draft and implement department forms, agreements, policy, procedures, and SOX regarding department products.
  • Support operational functions for both customers and employees.
  • Train and inform all bank employees on department products.
  • Responsible for the Disaster Recovery functions for the department.
  • Keep abreast of all rules and regulations concerning the team’s function and communicate changes with appropriate staff.
  • Complete and/or review and approve GL/DDA reconciliations.
  • Provide requested information to support internal and external audits.
  • Manage support staff.
  • Comply with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Possess a four-year college degree from an accredited college, university, or institution with the major area of study in business administration, finance, accounting, computer information systems, or other closely related field. Formal education requirements may be substituted by the completion of an ABA (or equivalent) diploma or practical experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Possess a minimum of ten years of professional work experience in the area of banking operations. Specific training in this area required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public both face-to-face and over the telephone.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must have the ability to operate the following equipment: telephone, PC and printer, copy machine, calculator, and fax machine. Must have working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and database software programs. Advanced PC knowledge. Knowledge of ATM hardware required.
  • Valid driver's license.
