Uniti Fiber is seeking a Principal Project Manager, Sales Operations to support strategic initiatives across our Sales, Marketing, and Business Intelligence teams. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Operations, this role will lead high-impact projects that improve operational effectiveness, drive cross-functional alignment, and support business growth. This position will serve in both a leadership and supporting capacity. The Principal Project Manager will directly lead select projects from planning through execution, while also partnering with other lead project managers on enterprise and cross-functional initiatives to ensure Uniti Fiber priorities, requirements, and interests are represented effectively. These projects may involve collaboration across multiple business units, including Uniti Fiber, Uniti Solutions, Kinetic, and other organizations within Uniti Group. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong executor who can manage complex initiatives, influence across teams, and bring structure and accountability to fast-moving business priorities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Project Management, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of project management, program management, sales operations, business operations, or related experience.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a complex business environment.
Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritization, organization, and execution.
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams without direct authority.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in telecommunications, fiber, technology, or a related industry.
Experience supporting sales operations, marketing operations, business intelligence, or related business functions.
Familiarity with project governance, business process improvement, and change management practices.
PMP or other project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic projects supporting Uniti Fiber Sales Operations and related functions, including Sales, Marketing, and Business Intelligence.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
Serve as the primary project lead on assigned initiatives, ensuring successful execution and delivery of business outcomes.
Support broader enterprise projects led by other business units or organizations, providing oversight and advocacy for Uniti Fiber interests.
Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, success measures, and resource needs.
Drive project governance, status reporting, issue resolution, and executive-level updates.
Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and scalability.
Facilitate cross-functional meetings and working sessions to drive alignment, accountability, and decision-making.
Monitor project health and proactively manage risks, roadblocks, and interdependencies.
Support change management, communication planning, and readiness efforts associated with strategic initiatives.
Promote project management best practices and operational discipline across teams.
