Parsons is seeking a Principal Project Manager for their Road & Highway team in Miami, FL. This role is crucial for growing the business with Florida DOT and managing design projects. The position is part of the Critical Infrastructure team, which focuses on planning, designing, building, and modernizing infrastructure that connects and protects communities. Requirements

4-year degree in Engineering or related technical/business field.
At least 15 years of related work experience.
Broad general technical and business background.
Previous project management experience on similar or related projects.
Florida PE required.
FDOT Experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 15 years of experience delivering FDOT Major Design Projects (Roadway 3.2 or 3.3).
Experience with FDOT is required.
Roadway Design Background required.

Nice To Haves

Design-Build Project Experience is a major plus.
PD&E (FDOT Category 2.0) experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide direction and management for large-scale projects, as well as Alternative Delivery projects.
Ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations.
Manage scope development, scope management, and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives.
Plan and define program goals and devise methods to accomplish them.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies.
Engage in business development activities.
