About The Position

Cameron LNG has an opening for Principal Project Engineer in Hackberry, Louisiana. Develop, review and monitor VSDS (variable speed drives) electrical systems technical integrity plans. Approve detailed procedures, practices and standards for the maintenance and operation of facility VSDS systems. Oversee the electrical systems and ensure all modifications and/or repairs are performed professionally and in strict accordance with company procedures as well as applicable engineering and electrical codes & standards. Improve and ensure the reliability and integrity of the VSDS systems. Optimize the VSDS systems for efficiency and equipment reliability. Develop or support the development of proposals for facility improvements including design basis and preliminary estimates for capital projects as assigned. Maintain documentation for the VSDS electrical systems including conduit diagrams, electrical loop sheets, single-line drawings, motor indexes, tag lists, etc. Assist in developing and managing budgets and schedules to meet financial targets with an understanding of the accounting and procurement procedures and guidelines and abide by them. Position requires 10% domestic travel.
