Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in Business, Aerospace and Defense, or related professional experience; a Master's degree with 3 year; or 9 years with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active in-scope U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance (obtained or renewed within the last 6 years and able to obtain Special Access Program-SAP)
  • Requires 1 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
  • Requires experience in project management/ execution and closeout
  • Requires experience planning, scheduling, and managing projects with many different stakeholders
  • Requires experience developing content, packaging, and briefing communication
  • Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel (VBA and/or Macros)

Nice To Haves

  • Active SCI (SSBI) or Top Secret Security Clearance (with a full investigation within the past 6 years)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management principles
  • Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
  • 2+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
  • Experience with Schedule Analytics and Schedule Risk Assessment tools
  • Experience with P6 Primavera, Deltek Open Plan, Deltek Cobra/MPM, Deltek Acumen, or other Schedule Risk Assessment software tools
  • Aerospace/Defense Industry Experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers, and customers
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with business management and project management staff to develop an integrated program measurement baseline to manage cost, schedule, and technical performance of the program.
  • Perform Schedule risk analyses and work with the program manager to resolve risky schedules, critical path issues, and network logic conflicts.
  • Prepares and submits IPMDAR artifacts with cost analyst
  • Perform thorough project analysis through metrics reviews and predictive analysis to enhance cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
  • Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
  • Participate in month-end Earned Value reporting close activities.
