About The Position
The Principal IT Program Manager - Data Platforms and Insights oversees the modernization of the enterprise data infrastructure and business intelligence ecosystem. This position addresses the challenges of platform fragmentation and processing inefficiencies by integrating advanced AI capabilities to automate workflows and optimize data pipelines. Managing these initiatives ensures seamless, secure, and virtualized data access across the organization for analysts and decision-makers. Success requires driving cross-functional collaboration to deliver a stable, scalable, and innovation-driven data platform.
Requirements
- Critical experience leading complex data platform transformations and business intelligence initiatives
- Deep expertise in modern cloud data warehouse technologies; specifically Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS cloud services
- Strong AI literacy, including the ability to identify opportunities for embedding machine learning and automation into data management processes
- Exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive large-scale initiatives in fast-paced environments
- Advanced knowledge of data governance, data virtualization, metadata management, and quality control systems
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 10 years of experience in IT program management, specifically focusing on data platforms and business intelligence
- At least 5 years of experience with Jira project management tools
- At least 5 years of experience with Agile project management methodologies
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with AWS services such as Redshift, Glue, and Lake Formation, as well as Databricks Delta
- Experience managing project budgets and tracking team expenses
