About The Position

The Air Dominance Business Office within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is seeking an experienced financial Earned Value (EV) Analyst to lead financial execution and earned value management for the AMRAAM D4/C9 Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) Contract. This effort supports the modernization and redesign of critical AMRAAM subsystems. This contract requires Contractual EV Management and will be implemented using the SAP APEX EVMS/PMX tool suite. This Finance EV lead will serve as a critical business partner by providing analysis, insight, and guidance to enable strategic decision-making and achieve bottom-line results. This is a high visibility portfolio with significant complexities that provides the opportunity to influence decisions with direct P&L implications. The ideal candidate will be able to partner with program leadership and cross-functional partners (PMO, supply chain, contracts, engineering, security, USG, etc.) to drive execution and influence change. The candidate will be a critical business partner in providing insight and analysis to strategic decisions to achieve bottom-line results. Partners are all on-site, promoting transparency and open communication. The candidate should also be familiar with or excited to gain experience in the financial lifecycle from cradle to grave (proposal, negotiation, contract setup, baselining, execution, contract close-out). We are looking for someone who has a love for spreading knowledge and influencing process improvements. This position is a hybrid role based in Tucson, AZ and requires regular on-site presence. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.
Experience in EVMS, Program Controls, or integrated cost/schedule management.
Experience with MS Office.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate a cross-functional team regarding contractual EVMS submissions.
Develop, present, and defend monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LRE).
Baseline and incorporate regular scope expansion tasking.
Support related financial forecasting for the portfolio.
Analyze EV metrics including weekly/monthly costs incurred and provide associated leading indicator guidance to Program and Business management, external stakeholders, and the customer community.
Effectively and influentially communicate across all levels of the business (Functional Organizations, SBU’s, Program Management, and Government counterparts).
Foster relationships that improve execution implementation.
Partner successfully and drive influence with program IPL and strategic partners regarding all aspects of program execution and strategy.
