About The Position

As Principal Product Owner, you will play a critical role in shaping how digital products and solutions deliver value across the Potash business. Requirements

  • Proven experience in senior or principal‑level product ownership or product leadership roles
  • Strong ability to engage, influence, and align senior stakeholders across business and technology
  • Strategic thinking capability with a focus on value, outcomes, and long‑term impact
  • Experience operating in complex, large‑scale or industrial environments
  • A collaborative mindset, with a commitment to inclusion, safety, and continuous learning
  • Clear communication skills and the confidence to lead through ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic ownership and direction for assigned products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise priorities
  • Define and communicate product vision, outcomes, and value propositions to diverse stakeholder groups
  • Partner closely with business leaders, technology teams, and delivery partners to translate needs into clear product direction
  • Guide prioritization and decision‑making to maximize value, manage trade‑offs, and support safe, reliable delivery
  • Effectively manage the end-to-end lifecycle of a suite of application products
  • Foster collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across product and delivery teams
  • Ensure products support BHP’s commitments to safety, sustainability, and responsible operations
