About The Position

Socure is seeking a Principal Product Operations Manager to build and lead a Launch Operations team. This role is crucial for managing Socure's rapid growth by establishing a sophisticated launch process that keeps pace with increasing volume and ensures organizational alignment. The position involves building a small team, initially serving as the senior individual contributor, to provide an operational backbone for product launches. The focus is on ensuring clear ownership, visibility, and timely execution of deliverables, rather than performing the tasks themselves. This role sits within Product Strategy & Operations and requires close collaboration with Product Marketing, Legal, RevOps, Engineering, and other teams to ensure seamless execution and world-class product launches.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, or cross-functional tech operations inside product or engineering teams.
• Proven experience running effective accountability rhythms (recurring reviews, status dashboards, operating cadence) that build trust and drive results through influence.
• Demonstrated success managing or building a team of contractors and FTEs from the ground up.
• Comfort working with product roadmap tools (Aha!, Productboard) and issue tracking software (e.g. Jira, Linear); familiarity with spreadsheets and basic analytics is a must.
• Good understanding of product and software development lifecycles across different launch scales (new products vs. enhancements).
• Strong meeting facilitation skills - able to guide discussions, align key stakeholders, and secure clear commitments.
• Clear written communication style that makes progress updates and key takeaways easy to digest for leadership and partner teams.
• Ability to establish practical, hands-on processes today while identifying opportunities to automate and scale over time.

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing cross-functional go-to-market workflows across Legal, Product Marketing, Sales, Support, and Engineering.
• Background in B2B SaaS, fintech, or another fast-moving technology space.
• Experience building a team or operational function from scratch.
• Familiarity with CRM systems or connecting commercial data with product planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Run the weekly launch accountability forum, setting up and running a weekly launch check-in using a leaderboard.
• Serve as the driving force in meetings, spotting risks, testing resolution plans, and keeping work moving forward without executing tasks.
• Maintain a consistent accountability cadence across all launch sizes, from major PR and investor launches to smaller feature updates and strategic initiatives.
• Own the launch checklist and ownership model to drive Product org accountabilities, shifting task ownership from PMs to functional leads.
• Work with teammates in Product Operations to refine the checklist over time, distinguishing systemic gaps from one-off issues.
• Share clear updates and digests with partner groups (PMM, Legal, Engineering, Support, RevOps) to keep open items top of mind.
• Ensure teams adhere to execution discipline: items must be assigned, dated, and visible to be considered ready for launch.
• Pull target launch dates directly from roadmap tools like Aha! or Jira instead of relying on manually updated spreadsheets.
• Establish clear criteria for when a feature enters the launch checklist process (typically 6–12 weeks before launch) and guide the initial workflow.
• Adapt alongside Product Operations systems and tools as tracking views are automated and the operational system matures.
• Prove the value as the leading senior IC, and eventually build and lead a team that tracks launch health, works with owning teams, and keeps status updates accurate.
