Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
- 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience working directly with engineering teams
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
Nice To Haves
- A track record of defining market leading products that enable developers to bring their ideas to life is preferred.
- Passion for developers and experience in designing platform strategies.
- Background in software development and product management, specific to software platforms and ecosystems.
- Highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively across multiple organizations, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high-quality, simple-to-use products and applications that developers and customers love.
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
Responsibilities
- Define the vision, product roadmap, and features for building conversational experiences leveraging spoken language technologies and machine learning.
- Enable other teams in Alexa, other teams across Amazon, and external partners to create highly-engaging Alexa experiences and features that customers love using in their daily lives.
- Create business requirements documents and develop a long term roadmap for tools, documentation, and developer support.
- Collaborate with and guide a cross-functional team of engineers and designers to achieve your vision.
