Whether it's supporting loved ones back home, growing a business across continents, or pursuing new opportunities abroad, we're not just here to move money— we're here to move our global customers forward. We're looking for builders, reimaginers, and global thinkers who want to work at the intersection of technology, trust, and transformation. If that's you and you're ready to do the most meaningful work of your career—we invite you to join over 2,800 passionate Remitlians worldwide who are united by our vision to transform lives with trusted financial services that transcend borders. About the Role Every day, Remitly Business gains new signups who never complete their first transaction. The Principal Product Marketing Manager owns the marketing system that changes that — identifying unactivated SMB customers, designing the interventions that move them, and measuring the new customers (NCA) that result. This is a direct acquisition role: new customers who transact, sourced from a pool that already raised their hand. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this isn't a traditional B2B Product Marketing role focused on messaging, enablement, or GTM launches. It's closer to a PM who builds in marketing channels — running lifecycle and in-app touchpoints with hypotheses, test plans, conversion data, and a clear point of view on what moves the metric. You'll also use paid channels for retargeting and urgency-driven activation promotions. If you think like an engineer, execute like a marketer, and want to own the full system from hypothesis to result — this is that role. Hybrid role, 3+ days/week from our Seattle, WA HQ.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in product marketing, lifecycle marketing, or growth, with experience owning a conversion or activation metric end to end — not supporting someone else who did
  • Genuine PM instincts: you think in funnels and experiments, and have built roadmaps and made tradeoffs based on impact vs. effort
  • Built onboarding/activation programs from scratch across email, push, and in-app, with conversion data to show for it
  • Fluency with in-app marketing tooling (Braze, Iterable, Appcues, or equivalent) and the ability to QA your own implementations
  • Comfort working directly in data — you can build a funnel analysis and QA conversion events without waiting on an analyst
  • Experience designing or operating AI-assisted workflows in marketing/growth, with a point of view on where agents add leverage vs. where human judgment matters
  • Ability to work directly with engineers and PMs to scope instrumentation and tooling — you don't write the code, but you know what to spec

Nice To Haves

  • Fintech, payments, or two-sided marketplace experience is a plus
  • A background in engineering or product management is a strong plus — those who started there tend to move faster on instrumentation and data modeling

Responsibilities

  • Own NCAs from the unactivated customer base as your primary metric — build the roadmap, experiment backlog, channel mix, and investment model to grow it
  • Design, run, and iterate activation programs by customer segment: onboarding sequences, re-engagement triggers, milestone nudges, upgrade moments — across email, push, in-app, and paid retargeting
  • Partner with the PM who owns the product side of this metric, maintaining a shared view of what's being tested and where the highest-leverage interventions are
  • Turn conversion data into clear signals for product learning and development
  • Own in-app marketing touchpoints for the activation funnel — banners, modals, tooltips — as the marketing layer on top of the product experience, in close coordination with PM and Content Design
  • Design and manage an AI-native marketing operating system from scratch — agent architecture for hypothesis generation, test planning, content production, copy QA, and performance reporting; you're building this, not inheriting a stack
  • Own the marketing stack, tooling selection, and budget — evaluate what earns a place, cut what doesn't, and build infrastructure that lets you test faster over time

Benefits

  • Flexible paid time off
  • Health, dental, and vision + 401k plan with company matching
  • Paid parental, medical, military and family care leave
  • Mental Health & Family Forming Benefits
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
  • Continuing education
