About The Position

This role is responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision for payments and financial systems within a dynamic, mission-driven environment. You will own initiatives end-to-end, from market research through product launch and iteration, shaping capabilities that unlock measurable business growth and operational efficiency. The position requires collaboration across engineering, design, finance, compliance, and go-to-market teams, translating complex challenges into actionable solutions. You will influence product strategy, operational execution, and market expansion, ensuring that payments and financial systems scale to meet organizational goals. This role combines strategic thought leadership with hands-on delivery, providing a high-impact opportunity to drive innovation in financial technology solutions. Success will be measured by the ability to deliver growth, enhance customer value, and build scalable capabilities that become competitive advantages.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management within SaaS, fintech, Payfac, or payments platforms, with measurable business impact
  • Deep expertise in payment processing, financial systems, and compliance frameworks (PCI, SOC 2, reconciliation, settlement)
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional initiatives and outcomes without direct management authority
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to connect data-driven decisions to business growth
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across executive and departmental teams
  • Track record of launching new capabilities or entering new markets through product strategy

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in nonprofit SaaS, donor management, or fundraising technology
  • knowledge of nonprofit financial workflows
  • familiarity with accounting integrations and reporting platforms

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the long-term product vision and multi-year roadmap for payments and financial systems
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements to inform product strategy
  • Partner with executive leadership to prioritize investments and make build/buy/partner decisions
  • Serve as the payments domain expert, guiding cross-functional teams in engineering, design, finance, compliance, and GTM
  • Ensure successful execution of initiatives, providing guidance, removing roadblocks, and aligning stakeholders
  • Track performance metrics, business outcomes, and key KPIs, connecting product investments to measurable growth
  • Identify opportunities for new market entry or capability expansion that unlock revenue potential
