About The Position

The Principal Product Manager will lead Walmart’s global Talent Attraction and Candidate Engagement strategy across the end-to-end candidate journey, from job discovery and application through assessment, engagement, up to pre-boarding. This role will define the enterprise product vision for the Global Career Site, Enterprise Assessment Platform, and multi-agent candidate experience, ensuring they operate as one connected ecosystem. You’ll shape how Walmart attracts, evaluates, converts, and engages talent across web, SMS, email, conversational AI, and third-party platforms, using data, AI, and customer insights to create personalized experiences, improve hiring outcomes, and strengthen Walmart’s ability to attract talent globally. Our team is building Walmart’s connected, AI-powered global talent ecosystem, transforming how millions of candidates and associates discover opportunities, get hired, grow, and build their careers. Our portfolio spans the end-to-end talent journey, from attraction and hiring through onboarding, performance, learning, skills, internal mobility, and talent planning. We’re looking for an agile, forward-thinking Principal Product Manager who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly from insight to impact, and embraces new ways of working. This leader will leverage AI throughout the product development lifecycle to accelerate discovery, ideation, prototyping, decision-making, and delivery while helping shape the future of talent experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience setting product strategy across complex, enterprise-scale platforms or ecosystems.
  • Strong customer obsession with the ability to translate insights, data, and business needs into compelling product experiences.
  • Experience leading AI, digital, marketplace, hiring, or consumer-facing products at scale.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional teams around a shared vision.
  • Strong technical and platform thinking, including build, buy, and partner decisions.
  • Experience defining KPIs and driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, global complexity, and rapidly evolving technology.
  • A track record of mentoring product talent and raising product management practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 9 years’ experience in product management.
  • 11 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and joining to continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

  • Set the global product strategy and roadmap for Talent Attraction and Candidate Engagement across connected platforms and experiences.
  • Shape the end-to-end candidate journey using data, customer insights, experimentation, and market trends.
  • Lead Walmart’s multi-agent candidate strategy and AI-powered engagement experiences.
  • Own the Enterprise Assessment Platform strategy and evolve scalable, flexible assessment capabilities.
  • Scale reusable solutions across Walmart US, Sam’s Club, and international markets.
  • Establish portfolio KPIs and drive measurable hiring outcomes.
  • Shape enterprise build, buy, and partner decisions.
  • Influence cross-functional and executive stakeholders while mentoring product managers and elevating product practices.
