About The Position

A recognized product authority who shapes product strategy across multiple related products or a sizable product area. Drives organization-level decisions through deep domain expertise, data-driven insight, and cross-functional influence. Owns complex customer problems and product requirements including upstream and downstream impacts. Builds new ideas and strategies using Whole Product concepts. Sets best practices for the product management discipline and elevates the technical/strategic bar across PM peers. Equivalent in scope and impact to Senior Manager, Product Management on the People Leader track; represents the upper expression of Level G — broader portfolio influence, more strategic ambiguity, and deeper organizational impact than Staff PM.

Requirements

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 9 years’ experience in product management.
  • Option 2: 11 years’ experience in product management or related area.

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products

Responsibilities

  • Builds deep, proprietary insights into customer and business needs using design thinking, journey mapping, and process analysis across multiple related products.
  • Establishes scalable mechanisms for gathering and interpreting customer feedback and product usage data; transforms insights into prioritized, measurable problem statements at portfolio scale.
  • Guides teams in defining success metrics, ensuring alignment to customer outcomes and informing multi-layered validation across product, problem, and user dimensions.
  • Influences enterprise prioritization through proprietary customer insights and opportunity-sizing models.
  • Defines and evolves industry-leading product strategies by leveraging business, technology, and domain expertise to identify market opportunities and shape multi-pillar initiatives.
  • Frames complex problem spaces using hypothesis-driven approaches, Whole-Product thinking, and cross-domain insights to guide long-term product direction.
  • Promotes strategic vision across senior stakeholders by crafting compelling narratives grounded in competitive insights, user needs, and enterprise priorities.
  • Shapes build / buy / partner strategy at portfolio level; creates reusable platforms or partnerships adopted broadly.
  • Develops and manages roadmaps spanning multiple related products, ensuring strategic alignment, technical feasibility, and resource prioritization.

  • Mentors product managers at all levels; contributes to organizational capability building through strategic coaching and talent development.
  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
