We are building Ventura OS, a next-generation Connected TV platform designed to power premium streaming experiences. As Principal Product Manager, Core Platform, you will own the vision and roadmap for the core platform capabilities that power Ventura TV OS. This role focuses on the core operating system layer — defining the platform primitives, policies, and integrations that enable scalable, compliant, high‑quality experiences across a complex device and partner ecosystem. You will work closely with OEMs, ODMs, SoC partners, and internal product and engineering teams to ensure Ventura TV OS is robust, performant, and partner‑ready.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, ideally in platforms, operating systems, devices, or ecosystem products
  • Experience working with OEMs, ODMs, SoC vendors, or complex hardware‑software ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of how hardware, OS, and platform services come together at scale
  • Proven ability to translate regulatory, privacy, and compliance requirements into clear platform capabilities
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and deeply executional levels in highly cross‑functional environments

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, roadmap and execution for core platform capabilities, including overall system‑level UX, setup, settings, profiles, privacy, and compliance
  • Own the vision and definition of platform requirements including hardware, memory, performance, security, etc.
  • Work with OEM, ODM, and SoC partners on platform requirements, hardware/software integration, performance, and roadmap alignment
  • Define platform standards for onboarding, authentication, consent, data handling, and OS‑level enforcement
  • Lead Ventura TV OS privacy and compliance from a product perspective, partnering closely with legal, policy, engineering, and data teams
  • Define certification requirements and validation processes to ensure devices meet Ventura TVOS quality, performance, privacy, and compliance standards
  • Drive cross‑functional execution from concept through launch, balancing technical feasibility, compliance needs, and ecosystem requirements
