About The Position

Walmart is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy and evolution of products that power facilities asset management, parts management, and field technician enablement across Walmart’s global footprint. As part of the Global Asset Management & Enablement team, you will define how Walmart connects asset intelligence, parts availability, and technician workflows to improve equipment reliability and facility performance. Partnering across Facilities Services, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations, you will build scalable, AI-enabled capabilities that optimize asset lifecycles, improve parts availability, accelerate technician productivity, reduce operating costs, and enable smarter facilities decisions across the enterprise. About the team: The team leads product initiatives for Walmart’s global Real Estate business, focusing on AI-enabled solutions that enhance physical growth, fleet remodels, facilities maintenance, and digital twin technologies. They drive strategy and execution by leveraging data-driven insights and market research to develop innovative product roadmaps. Collaborating closely with cross-functional partners, the team prioritizes customer needs and business objectives to deliver impactful solutions. Their work supports continuous improvement and operational excellence, ensuring measurable outcomes through effective stakeholder management and advanced product management practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for enterprise software or data-driven products that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong customer and business acumen with the ability to translate complex operational challenges into innovative product solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to use customer research, market insights, product analytics, and experimentation to inform product decisions and prioritize investments.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data, AI, or analytics to improve business performance and decision making.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and build alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience balancing customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and long-term platform strategy when making product decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 9 years’ experience in product management.
  • 11 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products
  • Supervisory experience
  • Creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across facilities asset lifecycle management, parts management, and technician enablement capabilities.
  • Define how asset data, maintenance history, parts availability, and technician workflows come together to create an integrated facilities ecosystem.
  • Translate complex operational challenges into clear product opportunities, strategies, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Align business and technology stakeholders around priorities, trade-offs, investment decisions, and success metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and automate the end-to-end parts lifecycle while reducing cost and operational complexity.
  • Develop digital experiences that help technicians diagnose issues, identify required parts, execute work, capture asset information, and complete maintenance efficiently.
