About The Position

Marvell is seeking a talented Product Engineer to drive the New Product Introduction (NPI) to high volume production lifecycle, yield improvement, and manufacturing intelligence for Marvell’s next generation highly integrated optical transceivers and co-packaged optics. You will have the opportunity to work in a global operation team on product and test engineering, failure analysis, supply chain management, reliability and quality. You will be involved early in NPI with a focus on manufacturing process development, define and champion Design for Manufacturability (DfM) requirements across cross-functional teams to ensure product scalability and reliability. You will own the transition of advanced optical designs into high-volume production, drive manufacturing readiness, characterization, and PFMEA. You will also own overall yield roadmaps, cost analysis, and continuous yield improvement.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD (5-10 years relevant experience) in Photonics, Physics, or related Engineering fields.
  • Deep knowledge and hands on experience of Silicon Photonics, co-packaged optics, and high-speed components (lasers, detectors, modulators).
  • Strong experience and analytical skills on troubleshooting and JSL (JMP Scripting), Python, or SQL for automated yield monitoring and database querying.
  • Proven track record in module/device testing/characterization and volume production transfer.
  • Strong technical ownership, flexibility, and the ability to influence global cross-functional partners.
