As a Principal Consultant in Procurement, you will work with BCG clients to develop and implement strategies to optimize strategic procurement processes and supply chain management. You will apply your expertise, understanding of business contexts, and analytical skills to enable organizational priorities. You will also work in multidisciplinary teams to help businesses improve their products and create market growth strategies. Comprehensive project management: Developing and implementing tailor-made strategies in procurement and supply chain management, demonstrating entrepreneurial talent in the acquisition of new customers. Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in procurement and/or supply chain management (experience in consulting is highly preferred).
  • BS from an accredited university (MS is preferred).
  • Significant success in business optimization.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Results-orientated mindset.
  • Confidence and persuasiveness.
  • Business-fluent written and spoken English language skills.
  • Willingness to travel around the globe to work with clients and BCG teams. At times, this role involves significant travel to client sites. The amount of travel will depend on client needs and nature of projects.

  • The base compensation for this role is $230,000 in USD.
