Join Medtronic’s Engineering organization as a Principal Process Engineer - Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME), a pivotal hands on role driving innovation, modernization, and scalable manufacturing solutions within our Grand Rapids operations. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes, assembly lines, and tooling solutions that transform complex technical challenges into safe, efficient, and robust production systems—while maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient safety. As a key member of the Operations Extended Team, the Principal AME will focus on new process development, manufacturing innovation, and complex assembly solutions to enable successful product launches and sustainable production performance. You will partner closely with cross functional stakeholders—including R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Sourcing, and external suppliers—to drive projects from concept through qualification, validation, and full production readiness. Our Grand Rapids location is a state-of-the-art manufacturing and engineering hub specializing in the development and production of advanced medical devices.
