The Principal Planner, Inventory Control is a strategic role responsible for planning and managing inventory across multiple business areas, including finished goods, poultry products, retail channels, and warehousing/shipping supplies. This position ensures optimal inventory levels to support customer demand, minimize risk, and maintain operational efficiency. Acting as a key link between supply chain functions, commercial teams, and logistics partners, the Principal Planner drives inventory optimization, and process standardization to enable scalability and cost-effectiveness.This role leverages advanced planning tools, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to balance supply and demand, mitigate risks, and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. By managing complex inventory requirements and implementing best practices, the Principal Planner enables efficient operations and superior customer service while supporting Boehringer Ingelheim’s business continuity and growth objectives.
