About The Position

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a qualified Principal Program Cost & Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3) or Sr. Principal Program Cost & Schedule Control Analyst (Level 4) to join their team. This is an individual contributor role that can be filled at either level and is located onsite in Melbourne, FL or Oklahoma City, OK. Due to the classified nature of the work, this position does not offer virtual or telecommute options. The role involves performing analysis and preparing reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines. Responsibilities include supporting monthly and quarterly financial forecasting and reporting, providing internal reporting, incorporating forecasts, identifying staffing issues, and executing corrective actions using program reporting tools. The position interfaces with Business Managers, supports booking rate files, and profitability updates. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work with the Program Office while leading a smaller team are essential. The successful analyst will be able to use financial systems with an understanding of DoD financial rhythms, provide strategic guidance, develop and implement solutions, analyze variances/trends, develop new methods and process techniques, work under general supervision, and exert influence on peers and internal customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or industry related field OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, or industry related field (for Level 3).
  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or industry related field OR Master's degree with 6 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, or industry related field (for Level 4).
  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • Must have experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have experience successfully supporting a monthly financial forecasting rhythm.
  • Must have experience with EAC development and analysis.
  • Must have experience with MPM and/or Cobra.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing CDRLs (IPMR/IPMDAR/CPR/CFSR/CSDR)
  • Ability to run S4 BW (OLAP) Queries
  • Experience with Excel Macros, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and Slicer tools
  • Experience with IFAS/NGFP

Responsibilities
