Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and at least 5 years of experience, a Master's Degree in STEM with 3 years of experience, or a PhD Degree with no experience (for Principal Engineer)
  • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and at least 8 years of experience, a Master's Degree in STEM with 6 years of experience, or a PhD Degree with 3 years of experience (for Sr. Principal Engineer)
  • Experience designing, configuring, and installing avionics subsystems
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP). This SAP must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Responsibilities

  • Performing and executing Statement of Work (SOW) as a Responsible Engineer (RE) for Weapons Avionics Subsystem(s)
  • Manage the program requirements to ensure supplier compliance with program and AV design, test, document and Avionics Radar subsystems hardware requirements
  • Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications
  • Collaborate with Subcontract engineers and stakeholders to implement subsystem performance and environmental requirements.
  • Work to develop design solutions for obsolete hardware.
