About The Position

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Mission Assurance Engineer to support the Sentinel program. This position is located in Clearfield, Utah, Cheyenne, WY or Great Falls, MT. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. The Mission Assurance engineer will be responsible for the coordination and delegation of inspection authority in the field, auditing of various processes (both in the field and remotely), reviewing and approving test plans and engineering changes, witnessing various testing and/or integration activities, and coordination of nonconformance resolution and corrective action investigations. This position is in support of the RVA CLS contract on the ICBM-Sustainment program within the SDS division.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree AND 5 years of related experience, OR Master's Degree and 3 years of related experience.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with investigation date within 6 years
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and non-destructive inspection techniques.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
• Excellent oral and written communication, data analysis and problem solving skills
• Familiarity with AS9100
