Responsibilities

  • Leads and sets direction for the design and development of mechanical systems including components, enclosures, and packaging, ensuring reliability, performance, and manufacturability.
  • Contributes to the technical vision and sets best practices for the use of advanced computer aided design (CAD) tools, mentoring cross-functional teams in refining innovative mechanical solutions.
  • Establishes best practices and frameworks for mechanical strength and reliability testing of materials and components, collaborating with operations and suppliers to drive cost-effective production.
  • Defines protocols for and leads testing and reliability assessments, shaping design refinements and corrective action plans.
  • Leads high impact mechanical engineering initiatives, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
