About The Position
Park Schools Montessori is seeking an experienced educational leader for a 30-day temporary assignment to assist in preparing the school for the upcoming academic year. This role is ideal for individuals currently on summer break or recently retired from educational leadership positions. The opportunity involves collaborating with the team to ensure a successful start for students and staff, reviewing operations, supporting classroom readiness, aiding in teacher onboarding, and providing guidance on best practices.
Requirements
- Experience in educational leadership, such as: Current or former School Principal, Assistant Principal, Master Teacher, Academic Coach, School Administrator, Educational Consultant
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of school leadership or administrative experience
- Strong knowledge of school operations
- Experience supervising teachers and staff
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Passion for supporting educators and creating high-quality learning environments
- Montessori experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the school for the new academic year
- Review and organize school operations and procedures
- Support classroom readiness and learning environments
- Help with teacher onboarding and preparation
- Review curriculum planning and classroom materials
- Assist with staff organization and scheduling
- Provide guidance on Montessori and early childhood best practices (preferred but not required)
- Help ensure compliance with licensing and school standards
- Collaborate with administration on school improvement initiatives
