About The Position

The Machine Learning Engineer is responsible for working independently and leading the resolution of varied and non-routine complex machine learning challenges. This role exercises independent judgment and creative solutioning to design scalable models and optimize AI-driven systems. As a technical expert, this role drives ML innovation and architectural decisions, may coordinate team activities, and mentor new engineers to ensure the successful completion of assignments. Note: This role may come into contact with confidential or sensitive customer information requiring special treatment in accordance with Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Large Scale ML Systems: Architect and deploy scalable machine learning solutions for enterprise applications.
• Innovate in Feature Engineering: Develop innovative feature engineering techniques to improve model outcomes.
• Optimize Algorithms: Lead efforts in algorithm research and optimization for improved efficiency.
• Model Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of machine learning models, including maintenance and updates.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Guide project teams and serve as a subject matter expert in machine learning initiatives.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and training to other engineers
• Define technical roadmaps
