As a Principal Logistics & Property Specialist, you will contribute to a fast-paced innovative team and work closely with Property and Logistics functional management, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), suppliers, contracts and other functions that support the Raytheon property system. The role will administer and/or maintain aspects of the Property Management System including support of multiple property lifecycle areas (i.e., acquisition, identification, utilization, maintenance, inventory, subcontractor control, relief of stewardship and contract closure). We’re looking for a detail‑driven, compliance‑focused property professional to support audit readiness, strengthen accountability, and ensure flawless execution of Logistics & Property requirements.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.
  • Experience with either Government Property, Asset Management, Logistics, Operations, or Supply Chain.
  • Active and transferable Secret clearance level required at time of application. U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret or higher clearance level or program access prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing, documenting, and executing compliant property-management processes in alignment with contract requirements, company policies, standard procedures, and applicable federal regulations.
  • Experience with FAR Part 52 and Part 45, DFARS Part 252 and Part 245, including the ability to review, interpret, and apply contract clauses related to government-furnished and customer-owned property.
  • Experience working within Department of Defense (DoD) environments or under DCMA/DCAA oversight, including familiarity with FAR-based contractual language used to support Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action development.
  • Experience with Office 365, Special Program Access, cPDM, and PIEE (GFP Module, IUID registry, EDM module).

Responsibilities

  • Lead audit coordination by planning, organizing, and participating in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and other applicable government contract requirements.
  • Manage the full Logistics & Property lifecycle by maintaining accurate records, initiating and processing acquisition, transfer, maintenance, and disposal transactions, and ensuring all documentation is complete, timely, and compliant with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Monitor and analyze Logistics & Property data by tracking system performance, preparing and distributing metrics and status reports, and using data-driven findings to identify process gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by participating in CORE activities, conducting evaluations of existing workflows, collaborating with functional stakeholders, and contributing to the development and implementation of standardized processes, procedures, and measurement tools.
  • Ensure property accountability by verifying ownership, identification, maintenance status, utilization, storage conditions, and disposition actions for company, contractor, and government assets in accordance with applicable regulations and internal controls.
  • Serve as the Logistics & Property Site Lead by providing guidance to cross‑functional teams, overseeing site‑level property compliance activities, and ensuring adherence to regulatory, contractual, and company requirements.
  • Deliver training and awareness materials by developing and presenting content tailored to audiences such as program leadership, engineering, laboratory management, and other internal organizations to ensure consistent understanding of property and logistics policies and procedures.
