You’ll play a key role in ensuring system performance, security compliance, and operational reliability across a variety of environments.

Requirements

10+ years as a System Administrator supporting programs of similar scope and complexity
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or 5 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
Ansible (playbook development and maintenance)
VMware administration
AWS (EC2, EFS, S3 fundamentals)
Automation and scripting
VMDK creation/deployment
HP hardware and remote management
Cross-team collaboration
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required

Responsibilities

Ensure systems meet STE/STN security and compliance requirements
Manage user accounts, access controls, and security tools
Configure and maintain Linux/UNIX and Windows systems
Provide IT support and troubleshooting across servers, storage, networks, and mobile devices
Monitor system performance and resolve issues to maintain network integrity
Support system optimization, capacity planning, and automation efforts
Assist users and resolve escalated technical issues
Install and maintain hardware/software and support dispatch systems
