About The Position

As a Principal IT Analyst - SAP S/4 FICO here at Honeywell, you will lead complex, high-impact IT projects, using your expertise to provide guidance on IT strategy and drive data-informed decision-making. You will report directly to our Director of IT and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC, or Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule. Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite Monday – Friday.

Requirements

6+ SAP S/4 Hana FI/CO experience with extensive hands-on configuration expertise
2 years of minimum experience integrating S/4HANA with external tax engines and/or 3rd party applications.
3 years of minimum experience leading/Consulting S/4HANA transformation programs
2 years of minimum Experience in agile delivery models or SAP Activate methodology
2 years of minimum E-invoicing (eInvoice) frameworks and integration with SAP
Strong proficiency in following core areas: New GL, Document Splitting, and Parallel Ledgers
Strong proficiency in following core areas: FSCM (Credit Management, Collections, Dispute Management)
Strong proficiency in following core areas: Asset Accounting, including S/4HANA Universal Asset Management
Strong proficiency in following core areas: Product Costing and Material Ledger
Strong proficiency in following core areas: CO-PA (Profitability Analysis)
Strong proficiency in following core areas: Deep understanding of integration with SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, and PS
Proven experience with: S/4HANA Finance and Universal Journal
Proven experience with: SAP Fiori applications
Proven experience with: Integration with downstream and connected applications

Nice To Haves

1 years of minimum experience in SAF-T (Standard Audit File for Tax) reporting and regulatory compliance
Strong knowledge of end-to-end finance processes, including: Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C)
Solid experience in: Cost accounting &Budgeting and forecasting
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions with minimal supervision
Experience working closely with finance stakeholders to drive process improvements
Good understanding of: Indirect tax processes (Sales & Use Tax, VAT/GST)
Good understanding of: Tax determination, compliance, and reporting requirements
Good understanding of: Impact of tax engines on finance and supply chain transactions

Proven ability to lead workshops, solution design discussions, and governance forums

Responsibilities

Lead SAP FI/CO solution design, configuration, and delivery with deep expertise across complex enterprise environments.
Drive SAP S/4HANA transformation programs using SAP Activate and/or agile methodologies.
Design and implement core finance processes including New GL, document splitting, parallel ledgers, and S/4HANA Universal Journal.
Configure SAP FSCM processes covering Credit Management, Collections, and Dispute Management.
Lead Product Costing, Material Ledger, CO-PA, and Asset Accounting (including S/4HANA Universal Asset Management).
Ensure seamless integration of SAP FI/CO with SD, MM, PP, and PS modules, as well as downstream applications.
Develop and support SAP Fiori applications and provide end-to-end finance architecture guidance across projects.
