Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Software, or a related engineering discipline preferred.
• 15+ years of applied professional experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Engineering Degree from an accredited institution.
• Master of Engineering Degree from an accredited institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defines, communicates, and drives technical strategy across teams, product lines, or organizational areas.
• Solves novel, organization scale technical problems; creates reusable platforms, guardrails, and systems that improve long-term velocity and reliability.
• Shapes long-term technical and product roadmaps in collaboration with organizational and business leaders.
• Influences high level architectural decisions and ensures alignment between business objectives, technology investments, and long-term system health.
• Mentors less tenured engineers; set the bar for technical excellence, engineering rigor, and organizational engineering culture.
• Establishes and governs engineering standards, product safety and efficacy standards, architecture patterns, and scalability principles.
• Owns and approves strategic architecture decisions; defines frameworks and conventions that guide decision making across teams.
• Approves drawings, schematics, and merge requests within their domain.
• Shape long-term technology strategy by establishing priorities for technology scouting domains, aligning cross-functional stakeholders on high-impact technical bets for the business.
