About The Position

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Security Analyst to support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program. This position will be located in Roy, UT. The role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. The analyst will support Special Projects as an ACPSO with security compliance and execution of the national industrial security program. This includes handling of classified and/or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment, and the implementation of federal security regulations that apply to company operations. The analyst will obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. They will prepare manuals outlining regulations for subcontractors and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. The analyst will also investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree with 5 years of related experience, or Masters with 3 years of related experience or 1 years with a PhD; an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance or enrolled in the DoD continuous vetting program at time of application.
  • Current clearance must be current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • Experience interpreting and applying security regulations, standards, and policies
  • Experience supporting security incident investigations and administering or reviewing access to sensitive information, systems, or facilities

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 manuals.
  • Familiarity with Security Information Management System (SIMS).
  • Experience with JADE and DISS.
  • Prior SAP Experience
  • Experience with SAP inspections and a record of Satisfactory compliance ratings
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to adapt/function in high performing Team.
  • Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets.
  • Excellent writing skills, and organizational skills enabling effective communications.
  • Organized and efficient at time management.
  • Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience.
