About The Position

The Principal GTM Recruiter will serve as a strategic leader in scaling high-impact revenue and sales teams across global markets. This role combines full-cycle recruiting expertise with thought leadership to optimize hiring strategies, build top-of-funnel pipelines, and elevate the overall candidate experience. You will operate as a trusted advisor to senior Sales and GTM leaders, designing assessment approaches, influencing workforce planning, and mentoring other talent acquisition team members. The position has a broad scope, overseeing critical Account Executive and Sales Leadership hires while shaping recruiting standards and processes for the organization. Success requires a blend of consultative influence, data-driven insights, and hands-on recruiting execution in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of recruiting experience, with 5+ years in dedicated AE/Sales Leadership recruiting
  • Proven ability to act as a lead for the AE recruiting function and influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience scaling sales teams in high-growth, pre-IPO SaaS or technology organizations
  • Expertise in pipeline management, sourcing, closing senior talent, and assessing sales competencies
  • Consultative approach with strong ability to coach hiring managers and enhance recruiting practices
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities across all organizational levels

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Account Executive and Sales Leadership roles across global markets
  • Lead AE hiring strategy, including success profiles, assessment approaches, and top-of-funnel sourcing
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and talent strategy to anticipate hiring needs
  • Mentor, peer coach, and provide thought leadership to other Talent Acquisition team members
  • Leverage recruiting data to optimize hiring outcomes, report challenges, and propose solutions proactively
  • Champion a differentiated, high-touch candidate experience across all stages of the recruitment process
  • Maintain warm pipelines for key requisitions and continuously refine sourcing strategies

  • Zone 1 (San Francisco/Bay Area, NYC, Boston, Seattle): $171,000 - $235,000
  • Zone 2 (Irvine, LA, Austin, Chicago, etc.): $154,000 - $211,000
  • Zone 3 (All other US locations): $145,000 - $200,000
