About The Position

SAIC is seeking an experienced Principal Ground Systems Integrator to support the Space Development Agency (SDA) Tranche 3 Program Integration (T3PI) program. This position requires an active Secret security clearance. SAIC will be overseeing the Systems Engineering and Integration of the Tranche 3 space vehicle constellations, hundreds of satellites accomplishing multiple mission areas, including missile warning, tracking and defense. We work with the SDA, end users, space vehicle contractors, and ground segment contractors to ensure the architecture, requirements, implementation, integration and testing are executed successfully. Consistent with the SDA’s approach, the program will be fast-paced, dynamic, highly exciting and uniquely rewarding for the right candidate. This position can be onsite in Chantilly, VA or remote from Colorado Springs, CO or Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

• Act as Program Integrator Liaison to the Ground Segment development contractor
• Monitor key interface development, testing, and software deployment and advise the T3PI team and Government Systems Engineering Team on progress
• Proactive mindset to dig in and figure out technical solutions
• Energetic and clear communicator, able to collaborate with key stakeholders on ICDs, interface maturation, and inclusion of new interfaces in support of mission closure
• Identify and assess emerging technical and programmatic risks related to the ground systems and collaborate with system contractor team(s) to develop and evaluate mitigation strategies
• Support verification, validation, and deployment of ground solutions to operations.
• Support readiness reviews and major program reviews to evaluate ground system readiness
