Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company has an immediate opening for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer in the Houston, Texas office. The candidate will serve as the Principal-in-Charge of projects and will direct, review, and oversee projects and provide guidance to engineering staff.
Requirements
- Licensed professional engineer in Texas
- Over 10 years of related experience
- Well-rounded background in geotechnical engineering
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Track record of successful client relationship and service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Problem solving skills
- B.S. in Civil Engineering

- M.S. Degree in geotechnical engineering
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Principal-in-Charge of projects
- Direct, review, and oversee projects
- Provide guidance to engineering staff
- Select project managers for projects
- Direct and assist the project manager throughout project duration
- Interface with clients and attend meetings, as necessary
- Assume technical responsibility for project components
- Provide technical assistance to project managers and engineering staff
