About The Position

Fidelity is seeking a highly motivated engineer to provide technical leadership on a Compliance Technology development team. The engineer collaborates with team members, leaders, business partners, and technology partners across the firm to establish requirements, influence strategic decisions, and build solutions for the team’s domain. The role requires understanding existing business processes and managed applications, then translating requirements into business solutions through complex software programs. The engineer will work on Fidelity Capital Markets’ Supervision Technology team, which builds a cloud-native platform to analyze orders, executions, and other trade-related data to identify potential deficiencies in internal policies or regulatory requirements. The role contributes across the project lifecycle, including defining needs, analysis, design, and delivery toward the program roadmap. It also includes mentoring junior developers. Fidelity states that its onsite working model is transitioning toward full-time onsite presence through a phased rollout; expectations vary by role and location and may evolve.
