About The Position

The Principal, For-Profit Audit role is responsible for business development of new For-Profit leads in the Milwaukee area, growing the Milwaukee office Sikich team, and driving project and team management with the Milwaukee For-Profit group. The position involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with For-Profit clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, mentoring audit staff, and collaborating with other departments. The role also requires staying current with industry trends and identifying growth opportunities within the For-Profit audit practice.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and team management
  • Technical experience in For-Profit Industry - 15 years
  • CPA required
  • Strong business development and history of growth
  • Strong knowledge of For-Profit accounting standards and regulations.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development of new For-Profit leads in the Milwaukee area
  • Grow the Milwaukee office Sikich team
  • Drive project and team management with the Milwaukee For-Profit group
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with For-Profit clients, providing exceptional client service and addressing their unique needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Mentor and develop audit staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive services to For-Profit clients.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments and proactively identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the For-Profit audit practice.
