About The Position

Odyssey Systems is hiring a Principal FMS Program Manager to support the Qatar Early Warning Radar (QEWR) Program at Hanscom AFB in Massachusetts. The role supports Missile Warning and Missile Defense for a Foreign Military Sales partner and provides acquisition and program management support to program managers, Integrated Product Team leads, and senior leadership. The position is performed at Hanscom AFB, with remote flexibility one to two days per week, subject to change at the customer’s discretion. Travel may be required up to 25%.

Requirements

Must be a US citizen.
Must have and be able to maintain a Secret-level clearance.
At least 12 years of relevant experience in direct support of a USAF/USSF System Program Office.
Relevant experience supporting a USAF/USSF System Program Office, including at least five years of DoD experience.
Either a master’s or doctorate degree in a related field and 10 years of experience in the relevant technical or professional discipline, including five years of DoD experience; or a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the relevant discipline, including five years of DoD experience.
Ability to collaborate effectively with government staff, contractors, and integrated teams.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including technical writing and documentation.
Ability to provide user support and interface professionally with stakeholders.
Ability to organize, track, and manage multiple data products, reports, and record systems.
Ability to brief management and support coordination and staffing activities.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales programs, primarily in the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility.
Experience supporting international customers, partner nations, or security cooperation initiatives.
Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales (FMS), DoW acquisition management, the DoW 5000 Series, program management, risk management, contract management support, IPTs, RFP and SOW development, program reporting and metrics, acquisition documentation development, and lifecycle sustainment planning.

Responsibilities

Provide acquisition and program management support to Program Managers, Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, and senior leadership supporting FMS programs.
Support program execution to achieve cost, schedule, performance, and technical objectives in accordance with DoW and Air Force acquisition policies.
Assist in developing, reviewing, and coordinating acquisition documentation, milestone decision briefings, program plans, and contract documentation.
Support contract execution, including acquisition planning, requirements development, risk assessments, and program reviews.
Develop and maintain acquisition reports, program metrics, briefings, and executive-level communications.
Analyze program health and recommend acquisition strategies, schedule performance improvements, resource requirements, and risk mitigation approaches.
Facilitate program risk management, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and risk board coordination.
Support source selections, RFPs, SOWs, CDRLs, and contractor proposal evaluations.
Coordinate with government, contractor, and international stakeholders to support program objectives and mission requirements.
Support Mission Planning Environment (MPE) activities and align mission planning capabilities with program schedules.
Assist with life-cycle sustainment planning and operational support activities.
Monitor acquisition policy changes and recommend process improvements to enhance program execution and compliance.
Use acquisition and reporting systems for program tracking, documentation management, and decision-making.
