About The Position

The Naval Power Business Unit has an immediate opening for an ambitious finance professional to join our team as a Principal Financial Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to work in a classified production environment, where all tasks are performed onsite. Our team is responsible for financial reporting and analysis, Estimate at Completions (EAC), Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and ad hoc finance support to the program. Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience and understanding of the program business role, SAP, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and/or experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) concepts.
  • Experience with computer/Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • An active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Providing critical financial oversight and guidance for the contracts they maintain.
  • Partnership with Program Management and cross functional leads to support program execution.
  • Support of all programs financial aspects including financial planning (LRP, AOP, Working Capital, Monthly Financial Performance Reporting, Variance Analysis, Data Review and Reporting and NBI).
  • Program controls such as developing estimates at complete (EACs) and execution of EVM.
