About The Position

As a member of HealthierHere’s Finance and Contracting Team, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for leading advanced financial analysis, modeling, and data-driven reporting to support organizational decision-making and financial stewardship. This role develops and maintains robust financial models, performs detailed variance and trend analyses, and translates complex financial and operational data into actionable insights for leadership. In addition to core financial analysis responsibilities, this role plays a critical part in integrating financial data with contract and grant reporting requirements, including interpreting financial activity, monitoring grant and contract budgets, and incorporating financial results into funder-required reports. The analyst will work closely with accounting, program teams, and leadership to ensure financial data is accurately captured, reconciled, and aligned with reporting and compliance requirements. This position requires a technically strong and highly resourceful professional who is comfortable working with complex datasets and financial systems. The ideal candidate is a solutions-oriented problem solver who can quickly understand existing financial processes, build or improve financial models and reporting tools, and deliver high-quality analysis. The successful candidate will be able to ramp up quickly, independently manage complex financial analyses, and leverage data to improve financial transparency, reporting accuracy, and strategic decision-making. As HealthierHere administers government funding, the Senior Financial Analyst role carries an important fiduciary responsibility, approaching financial analysis and reporting with a strong sense of stewardship and accountability, recognizing that every dollar represents resources entrusted to the organization to achieve its mission. The role requires careful oversight of expenditures, thorough financial analyses, and a commitment to ensuring that funds are used appropriately, transparently, and in full compliance with grant and contract requirements. Equally important, this role calls for a collaborative team player who values shared ownership and partnership. The Principal Financial Analyst will work closely with colleagues across finance and program teams, offering support and contributing to move work forward. Success in this role comes from a team‑oriented mindset, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work constructively with others to strengthen the organization’s financial operations.
