About The Position
The Electrophysiology Therapies (EPT) Finance team supports the Defibrillation Solutions (DS) business through financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision support. The team partners closely with Commercial Marketing, Strategy, and business leadership to evaluate performance, assess market opportunities, and support investment decisions that drive business growth and operational execution. As a Principal Financial Analyst, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to the Defibrillation Solutions Marketing and Strategy organizations. You will provide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical support to business leaders while delivering insights that inform strategic, operational, and investment decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of finance or accounting experience OR advanced degree and 5+ years of finance or accounting experience.
- Experience in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Experience developing financial models and performing complex financial analyses.
- Experience evaluating business performance and providing financial recommendations to support decision-making.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders.

- Experience with P&L management, long-range planning, and strategic investment analysis.
- Experience with financial reporting tools, business intelligence platforms, or data visualization solutions.
- Experience operating within a large, matrixed organization.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or experience within the medical device, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Marketing and Strategy leadership to support financial planning, forecasting, and business decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, market opportunities, and strategic investments.
- Analyze operating results, key business drivers, and financial trends to provide actionable insights.
- Lead month-end and quarter-end financial reporting activities, including variance analysis and performance reviews.
- Build and manage forecasts, budgets, and long-range financial plans.
- Analyze profit and loss (P&L) statements, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve financial performance.
- Prepare financial reporting, presentations, and business reviews for leadership teams.
- Support process improvements, reporting enhancements, and ad hoc financial analyses across the organization.
