Our Cranial & Spinal Technologies (CST) operating unit advances surgical care for spine and cranial conditions through an integrated ecosystem of implants, navigation, robotics, imaging, and planning tools. Platforms like AiBLE enhance precision, efficiency, and outcomes for complex procedures worldwide. The Principal Financial Analyst, CST US Sales role supports revenue growth and operational discipline by partnering with sales leadership on forecasting, quota planning, business reviews, and financial analysis. The position also manages revenue close activities, tracks key business trends, supports Large Capital and Infuse Bulk performance, and helps improve reporting and compensation processes. It requires strong finance experience, analytical skills, business acumen, and clear communication with sales leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial analysis to national and regional leadership and develop and implement revenue growth plans in partnership with sales leadership.
  • Prepare quarterly business reviews of national and regional business results and provide actionable guidance to sales management.
  • Support the annual development of area, region, and district quota plans.
  • Provide financial support and analysis to the NVP, AVPs, RSDs, and District Managers in developing robust and accurate revenue and expense forecasts.
  • Manage month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Evaluate regional and district opportunity pipelines, implant trends, usage trends, and other key metrics to identify opportunities to optimize results.
  • Report and analyze cost of sales and P&L results by area and region; coordinate review meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Support Large Capital and Infuse Bulk tracking, strategy, and forecasting to achieve quarterly and annual targets.
  • Partner with Regional Finance Leads on sales force alignment, performance management, and compensation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the CST Sales Operations team to optimize system tools and reporting capabilities.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly manual compensation adjustments for CST.
  • Lead or support special projects as assigned.
  • Perform all activities in compliance with the local Quality System.
  • Perform duties in compliance with environmental, health, and safety-related site rules, policies, and governmental regulations.
