At Autodesk, the company helps customers design and make anything, focusing on insight-driven product development, seamless digital experiences, and AI-powered innovation. They are seeking a Principal Experience Designer, Agents and Workflows to join the Applied Intelligence design team within the Experience Foundations organization of the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) Division. This is a strategic design role focused on defining the core interaction model for Autodesk’s future agentic product experiences, particularly for notebook-style and workflow-oriented surfaces. The designer will be accountable for shaping how users initiate, iterate, and operationalize work with AI, establishing intuitive, contextual, and outcome-driven human–AI collaboration patterns. The role requires deep interaction design craft across emerging paradigms like search, data-informed personalization, and context-aware experiences. The designer will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Personalization, and Content Design teams, including those in adjacent AI-focused spaces, leveraging existing user research and experience architecture to transform complex system capabilities into clear, usable, and trustworthy experiences, while also modeling strong cross-functional ways of working.
